Primary packaging

Primary packaging consists of packaging that comes into direct contact with the product (i.e the can itself). Enterprise has supplied canning and packaging equipment for sizes from 150 ml in the case of mixers, up to 568 ml or pint cans for beer – and everything in between. Secondary packaging

Secondary packaging includes anything the can is packaged into. Enterprise Tondelli can supply the following secondary packaging machines:

Film-only shrink wrappers
Flat board shrink wrappers
Tray and film shrink wrappers
High-sided tray erectors/loaders
Wraparound cartoners
Combined machines for any combination of the above.
American cartons with top and bottom flaps either glued or taped
Combination machine for wraparound cartons and American cartons on the same machine!
Quincunx packs
¼ tray loaders
Also doypack loaders

Tertiary packaging

Sometimes called multi-packing, this term is often used interchangeably with secondary packaging. Enterprise can supply a wide range of tertiary or multi-packing, from printed film-only packs using a special heat tunnel for near-perfect shrining, to kraft board multipacks.

Recent projects included:-

Kraft board FEC (fully enclosed carton) for 4 packs and 5 packs x 330 ml cans
Open-ended kraft board glued sleeves
Film-only multipacks of cans with a printed film and a special heat shrink tunnel with moving walls for near-perfect shrinkage and brilliant graphic retention
Machines for card or plastic neck clips to make a multipack
