We know from our customers that having a package that is wet causes no end of problems. This could be due to issues such as mould growing under crowns due to water presence, poor self-adhesive labelling due to water on bottles, residual water in drink pouch folds, poor can coding, drying of plastic crates post washer or drying of washed mini kegs.
See our solution at Drinktec exhibition. Enterprise Tondelli manufacturing partner Eurosistemi have been making driers for many years now and have supplied them all over the world. They come in 1 metre sections, each unit complete with its own high velocity fan mounted above the unit in a sound deadening enclosure. Rather than blades we fit individual nozzles that can be adjusted perfectly to dry the container as required. These can be positioned along the sides and on top or angled for under the crown. Speeds from 1,000 cph to 60,000 bph are possible.
A quick change over system means that different containers can be handled easily and repeatable for best results by just undoing two quick release handles. Where space is an issue special 90 degree units allow drying even on bends. Drier units have their own control panel fitted with inverters allowing them to be programmed to adjust to the bottle flow and stop in the event of a line stoppage or no bottles present to save energy. They can also be used to warm bottles prior to labelling with the fitting of heating elements on the air delivery. Multi track versions are available too for mass drying of bottles post pasteuriser.
For drink pouches we have a special system so that the pouch is squeezed to expose all surfaces for drying. Other applications have included a water shower section with recirculation pumps, filters and mono-blocked to the drying sections to give a complete solution.
