One Machine for Filling Both Bottles and Cans

Enterprise Tondelli have been supplying bottle and can fillers for more than 48 years in over 45 countries from 6 filling valve to 140 filling valves on rotary carousels!

One exciting development is we are now able to supply combined bottle and can fillers. The Matrix Srl monobloc machine utilises a rotary rinser with special grippers for both cans and also bottle cleaning. After rinsing containers are transferred to the filling carousel via a starwheel for positive transfer onto the filler.
Filling of either container is by flow meter filling valves for very accurate volume filling. This very flexible technology means that we precisely control the filling phases from the operator touch screen allowing a wide range of preset recipes to be used. For beer filling for instance this allows greater control of the CO2 flushing for cans or pre-evacuation, filling and snifting process to create a dense foam on the beer for reduction of oxygen pick up.

A central filling bowl reduces product losses and is more hygienic due to its shape and also CIP spray ball for cleaning. Using electro pneumatic filling valves means much lower maintenance due to fewer moving parts and elements and also much more controllable for the different products..
Change over from bottles to cans is very simple requiring mainly container diameter change parts. The geometry of the machine is very simple looking very much like a conventional monobloc with starwheel container very good access to the machine The machine is ideal for small and medium size breweries with a recent installation of this type of machine in a French brewery. Installed last year the unit is a 32/32/8/1 monobloc handling 330 nl cans and 500 ml glass bottles with crown cork closures.

If you need only one container type then we can supply fillers from 1,500 to 80,000 container per hour.
For slower speeds or craft producers Enterprise supply a range of filler from 6 valves upwards with traditional mechanical filling valves that are simple and easy to work with. Recent projects where we have used this technology include a 9/8/1 for beer filling at 1,500 bottles.
For medium to high speeds and more complicated project Enterprise Tondelli also supply a range of electropneumatic filling valves machines with a number of very important benefits for the end user.
An innovative feature of our flow meter can filler is also the facility for automatic CIP cups making cleaning much quicker and safer. At the touch of a button the CIP cups are inserted and sealed for quick and easy sanitation.
When using level filling we can also use externally adjustable vent tubes to change the fill level in real time for different containers thus reducing parts and increasing hygiene.
